YOGA – FOOD – CONVERSATION
A very special ‘Social’ this month: Our good friends and partners at Liverpool Mental Health Consortium will be joining us.
Tonight we need YOU and your thoughts. We are aiming to find out just HOW yoga, arts, culture, events & entertainment impacts on our mental wellbeing. So, after our usual dedicated practice, this time with another of our partners Thalbir Kaur Shokar we will settle down for an informal yet much-needed discussion where we hope for you to enlighten us in this area.
The information is vital for us to be able to serve you in future events but even more important for LMHC so they can carry on raising awareness of the issues that face us in the mental health arena, and how we can cause positive change.
Once again we will be serving up some delicious food in true ‘social’ style; our own raw and sugar free desserts and cakes and an absolutely knockout super-juice-smoothie.
Come and join us for another evening dedicated to our collective wellbeing.
Bring your mat, your appetite, your pals and this time your thoughts too!
Place: St. Brides Church
Date & time: Sat 26th May 16.30-18.30
Info from LMHC and the survey on the night:
Liverpool Mental Health Consortium has been finding creative ways to talk about wellbeing for over 20 years. We co-ordinate conferences, events & workshops, provide training, & undertake research, public health promotion, & lobbying. We also run the annual Liverpool Mental Health Festival & Mad Pride event. Our latest project involves working closely with a range of Liverpool Festivals & with the University of Liverpool. We want to understand the sources of anxiety/stress in local communities, how this affects daily life, & ways of coping.
The information gathered in this survey is anonymous. By answering these questions, you’ll be helping us to make positive changes to community wellbeing. We’re looking forward to talking to you!
