Slow Flow, Relax and Reset Workshop

In this yoga workshop we will be exploring the Art of Slowing Down as we move, breathe, chant, connect and meditate. Coming home to the truth of who we really are. Come and join us on this journey within.

We will be encouraging the parasympathetic nervous system to bring us into rest and digest. In this resting state, nourishing and healing release can occur. For me this is also that unfathomable place from where intuition, creativity and joy shines forth.

The workshop will include the following:

  1. Intention setting
  2. Slow Flow yoga and movement sequence
  3. Restorative Yoga
  4. Yoga Nidra (Yogic sleep technique)
  5. Meditation
  6. Sharing circle
  7. Closing and grounding
  8. Kirtan with Sion

Previous experience of yoga and or dance movement styles welcome. If you have minor injuries you may also find this workshop of benefit. No previous experience of meditation necessary.

Please bring an eye cover, cushion and blanket (there are some available at studio but you may feel comfortable with your own)

You may wish to bring a pen and paper.
You may wish to bring an object to share in the altar of the sharing circle.

Please wear comfortable, layered clothing.

As we will be starting at 1pm aim to eat a light lunch by 12pm if possible.
